Zope Clustering Provider

Zope

Zope is open source software that is a powerful web site builder and application server. Programmers that use Zope describe it as object publishing software. Zope is compared to application servers and site builders such as Netscape's Application Server and ColdFusion. Zope can run on almost any operating system and can interact with or manage data in databases such as Microsoft SQL server, MySQL, Oracle and Sybase.

Zope Server Options

Zope can be used on virtual servers, but because it is an excellent software for developing complex web sites, it is often found hosted on clusters. A properly configured and maintained Zope cluster is very robust and high-performance. Using Zope in a cluster also makes it much easier to troubleshoot the root cause of problems.

Zope Issues

The only drawback to using Zope in a cluster is you have to know what you are doing. Zope clustering done right is easily scalable and easily maintained. Any clustering configured wrong is a nightmare you don't want to experience.
